What is
Hartman's Harvardites? This
is a club for students who are interested in achieving "above and
beyond" the normal classroom expectations. All you have to do
is learn all about the topic, and then during study time (if all your
other homework is done) take the quiz. You can become a 1
topic member, all the way up to
an 94 topic member! Climb the "Stairway to Knowlegde"
through the different colleges. For every ten topics you pass, you
graduate from another college. You begin in Alexander Middle School,
continue you on to Nekoosa High School, advance to Mid-State Technical
College, proceed to UW-Stevens Point, move forward to Madison University,
press on to Notre Dame, progress to Princeton, continue on to Yale, and
finally arrive at Harvard. Since there is still the possibility of
progression, Oxford is being added. If you "Climb the Stairway
of Knowledge" all the way to the top, you can earn some special
awards. If all of the topics are mastered in the categories you can
become a Master Historian-Geographer, a Master Scientist, a Master Literary
Technician, a Master Mathematician, and a Master Trivial Pursuit
Champion. M&Ms are awarded for every passed topic and prize and
certificates are awarded at each college level. Learning never
ends - thank goodness! Set a goal and we'll see you at lunch.
Good luck and remember to use this site to study. This club idea come from Mrs.
Renz, a fourth
grade teacher from Redmond,
Oregon. Thank you Mrs. Renz for letting
us borrow your idea. Just click on one of the topics below to get
